Unlike Cornwall it was overall nearly the same as the UK overall, thus contrasting with pro=Brexit England and anti-Besit Scotland and mildly anti-Brexit Northern Ireland. In fact Wales itself was deeply split within itself, some parts quite pro-Brexit and others quite anti-Brexit, with this not easy to sort out. I note that the main divide there is between the northern and southern parts, although that split did not neatly fit with the pro va anti Brexit split, which was probably more urban/rural, with Cardiff in the south more anti-Brexit, even as some rural parts of the south were much more pro-Brexit.rosserjb@jmu.eduhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09300046915843554101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4900303239154048192.post-43297747174542798452021-06-13T16:48:57.104-04:002021-06-13T16:48:57.104-04:00Dr. Rosser, I read similar things about Wales, rig...Dr. Rosser, I read similar things about Wales, right after the vote. Specifically about the many infrastructure projects and job-training schemes the EU was funding, that would now all go away. There was a delicious quote about how it would become more feasible to open hazardous waste treatment operations in Wales, now that all the burdensome regulation was being removed, though. The Sophisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14548019918360204530noreply@blogger.com
