A number of news reports (e.g., PBS) mention that were he alive, Krueger would no doubt have been one of the recipients. I have not noticed that any of the stories that say this mention the 3 person limit on the number of recipients. Who of these three would not have received it if Kreuger were still alive?

I have my own, not entirely well founded, thoughts.marcel proustnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4900303239154048192.post-85545618389972963112021-10-13T07:22:51.494-04:002021-10-13T07:22:51.494-04:00It is a must-read post about bad reportingIt is a must-read post about bad reporting500 Per Crorehttps://www.500percrore.in/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4900303239154048192.post-17688567274089116992021-10-12T08:20:02.414-04:002021-10-12T08:20:02.414-04:00Timely reminder

Walrasianism, Keynesianism, Marxianism, Austrianism, MMT are axiomatically false. Economists are NOT scientists. The EconNobel is a deception of the general public. Because economics is not “sciences” but brain-dead political agenda pushing, what we actually have is one of the biggest frauds in the history of modern sciences.

→ links
https://axecorg.blogspot.com/2019/08/links-on-economics-nobel.html

Egmont Kakarot-Handtke

AXEC / E.K-Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10402274109039114416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4900303239154048192.post-66490711243079877362021-10-11T14:02:02.343-04:002021-10-11T14:02:02.343-04:00Yes. I suspect there is a subtle guilt trip going on here with the committee, given that their failure to award it to Weitzman two years ago with Nordhaus getting it was mentioned in Weitzman's suicide note. Of course, too late for Krueger, who also committed suicide and if he left a note It was never publicized. But I suspect this was on their minds.

The paper is clearly very important, and I see conservatives on some blogs, such as Marginal Revolution, charging the committee with political bias because, of course, they have never liked that paper.rosserjb@jmu.eduhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09300046915843554101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4900303239154048192.post-40392958311288774292021-10-11T11:29:48.004-04:002021-10-11T11:29:48.004-04:00Krueger should have lived to finally receive the p...Krueger should have lived to finally receive the prize.
