I like cartoons allovasudden...this one too. Izit yours? I don't wanna offend...but no signature, and why not? Someone is going to steal it... I like the train: the hand behind the anonymous body about to delivery the message to 2008 face...itiz our hand, people. You might think it is the arresting hand, but anonymous gets off 2 shoes before he is downed by security...so itiz the viewer's hand. Ok, Brenda, if you can tell me mo...I'll tell you mo. calmo
It's a cartoon I did, Calmo. I often forget to put a signature on my drawings and paintings. The hand behind the shoe thrower may be a second symbol (the first being the surprised look on 2008's face) of something quite unexpected and threatening. Like 'change' coming.
It's not so much an arresting hand as a surprised one; the immediate response is to try and hold change back.
On the other hand, the sketch was done in 3 minutes and, at the time, I really didn't think much about every single element of the drawing. But now that I have.... ;-)
