Josh Marshall has a headline reading, "Progressives Look To Team Up with Tea Party On Syria Vote."
If you ask me, if you're looking to team up with the Tea Party on anything, you're no kind of progressive, but hey, what do I know?
what makes something Progressive is the policy, not the people who vote with you. If the Tea Party will vote to not bomb Syria, you work with them to get a majority to not bomb Syria. (For that matter if the Senate and Congress vote to bomb Syria, it will be because Boehner and Pelosi have teamed up in the House and McCain and Kerry in the Senate. So if you *support* bombing Syria you can't escape the contradiction. You are still part of a right-left teamup.)
