Crisis Commentary Overview

I have tried to integrate the commentaries into a coherent whole, before I go on to new ones.

Some people have complained about the Word format. I tried to use open office, but it lost all my formatting. Help will be appreciated

As HTML:

You can just "save as" an html file, open the new file in your browser, view source, cut everything between the BODY tags, and paste it into the blog, heave ho.

Though, I was using NeoOffice, so your mileage may vary.

On which note, this sentence gives me the distinct impression that NeoOffice is garbling the word doc:

"The book shows describes more than three decades of concerted efforts to restructure the economy to respond to the antiauthoritarian spirit of the 1960s, which included."

Pardon me.

I just printed the article. It gives me something to read on the bus ride home.
